Stagnant

On the list of things

that scares me the most,

stagnancy has got a high

rank.

it is definitely scarier than

Death

Life

a night without food

Loneliness

That soul sucking void

we all are born with.

Stagnancy is a sweet

trap.

seems calming at first,

and then it comes

out of you

burning your gut

and everything you

have ever loved

it sucks the life

out of you like

no person can.

and the worst,

it sucks the ongoing

fear of death

right out of you,

leaving you in a never ending

pit of nothing

and nothing

and You.
